Brendan Rodgers hailed Liverpool's performance after the Reds came back from behind on two occasions to grab a winner against Fulham in injury time.

Fulham 2-3 Liverpool

Liverpool suffered a calamitous start to the game at Craven Cottage, with Kolo Toure firing the ball into the back of his own net after trying to control a low ball drilled across the face of goal by Kieran Richardson.

The Reds pulled it back level as Steven Gerrard played a world-class through ball into the path of Daniel Sturridge, who duly fired it across the face of goal and in off the post.

The second-half saw the visitors fall behind again as Martin Skrtel and Jon Flanagan failed to deal with a floating ball into the box, allowing Richardson to fire past Simon Mignolet.

Philippe Coutinho brought the Reds level again, cutting across the edge of the box before finding enough space to fire off the shot, with a slight deflection doing just enough to push it past Maarten Stekelenburg.

Liverpool left it until injury time in the second-half to score the winner, with Sturridge being brought down in the box before Steven Gerrard stepped-up to convert from the spot.

Rodgers hailed the performance of his ever-reliable captain, as well as talking up the Reds title hopes. You can watch the full post-match interview below.
